The Parent Empowerment Summit (PES) aims to create a space that inspires and empowers parents and teachers, to work together in concert to develop excellent schools that are driven by and accountable to the community. With over 400 parents and 100 teachers present, the Parent Empowerment Summit will provide an opportunity for parents, teachers, and community partners to engage in thoughtful discussion that will ultimately drive a movement of advocacy for education in the Metro-Atlanta region. Through information sessions and a panel discussion, teachers and parents will be exposed to new opportunities and gain insight on what it really takes to effectively be the change needed to provide educational success in the lives the of Metro-Atlanta’s students.
